Finance conference in the Liberal Unity.

Saturday, april 11 in a regular meeting of the Liberal Unity of the Republic of Cuba which took place in the house of its president Héctor Palacios Ruíz, a conference was offered about finances which objectives is to elevate the knowledge of the coordinators in this important issue. The conference, that was incharged by Francisco Chaviano González, first vice-president of the Unity.

The pricipal topics treated where the reappearance of the paper coin, which is the Central Bank, diferent types of coins, flow and reflow of money, inflation and deflation, recession, etc.

At the end some cases of interest where argued as the problem of the coins in Cuba and the possibility of canceling one of them. The idea of Raúl Castro in relation to the subject, assuring that he would compare both coins slowly, was also approached; a thing which the speaker judged as a premeditaded fraud, even though the economy is in frank decline and instead of realizing changes which would incentivate, they are hindering the matter with represive measures.

In a way of offering a solution, it was concluded with a controversial proposal of the Project of transition of the Liberal Unity according to which; the change of the regime would bring a salary increase in parity with the decrease in the price of the products. According to his arguement the chairman Chaviano González, this asseveration which apparently contradicts a finance axiom, is possible because its all about a change in the system and he pointed: "The wave of the market will invade the cuban space impossing its economic order and harmony in the zone and the reestablishing of normality will implicate what we have planted; now that the actual relations is a abnormality forced by the regime, where it is prominent his taxation of the value attached (IVA) of 240%" which converts the price of the products in a robbery.

The Liberal Unity is developing every month a talk of actual themes and educated characters for the liberal cuban and persons of the civil society. The participants recognize the necesity to start preparering adecuately as a peaceful struggle for democratic changes in the island.

The next subject which will be discussed saturday, may 8, will be about the laws in Cuba and Dr. René Gómez Manzano has been invited as instructor.

Inmmediately the order was continued which was then followed by a meeting, standing out at the entrance of the Coodinators meeting with a new member, José Luís Castro Aguilar, president of the CDH "Liberty without frontiers" of the province of Holguín.

Also it was agreed to improve the growth of the numbers of the youth and women within the Liberal cubans and give them an increased participating role, as they deserve for being the angular rock in all the labor of progress. It was agreed by them, to create a juvenal front in each party or group of the Liberal Unity, who have not cease to respond to their groups of origen; they will meet and interact with the Juvenal Coalition Martiana, who will preside it is Edgar López Moreno. The same will be done with the women which will create a feminin front in each organization, which will interact under the tutelage of the feminin front "Gladis Núñez Villalta" which is presided by Martha Bonachea Rojas.
