The FDP invites the press and the public to connect and participate in the conversation, this Wednesday, June 24 at 8PM EST, live from Rosa María Payá's Facebook page. The Denunciation Center of the Foundation for the Pan American Democracy, requested a precautionary measure before the IACHR, on behalf of Keilylli de la Mora Valle, activist of UNPACU and promoter of Cuba Decide, who was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison after a police incident last April. From her time of entry into the detention center, the activist initiated a hunger strike that lasted for more than 12 days, forcing her to be transferred to the provincial hospital of Cienfuegos. Keilylli de la Mora Valle, at 27 years of age, is in a serious and urgent situation as her rights to life to personal integrity are at serious risk. The IACHR confirmed that the request is already under investigation. |
