Press conference about Obamas letter of important groups of the cuban opposion

Cubamatinal/ The Liberal Unity Party of the Republic of Cuba, The Table of Relators All United and member of the Agency for the Transition in Cuba offered a press conference april 9 at 10 in the morning in the house of Hector Palacios Ruíz, Presidente of the Liberal Unity Party. Press agencies accredited in Cuba and independent news reporters where present at the conference.

Text of the letter to Obama

Habana , april 10/ The motive for the conference was to make known a letter directed to the president of the United States where it is expressed in ten points the concern of the groups in Cuba for the irregularities that exist to help get to the interior of the country the assistance that american contributors sent for the democratization of Cuba.

"If the government of the U.S. can not guarantee, in the future, the help for promoting democracy in Cuba, as a priority, to the pricipal source, we mean by this, to the interior of the our country than it would be better to retire those funds and employ it in other objetives." established one of the central holders of the letter.

The document in question closes with the ratification by the signers that the liberation of all political cuban prisoners, the cease of repression against the movement for human rights, the publication of letters and international pacts of human rights and the legal knowledge of political pluralism in the cuban society keeps being the main fundamental objective.
