CUBANACAN INDEPENDENT PRONOUNCEMENT PRESS AGENCY


Santa Clara, March 24, 2009.

Journalists from the Independent Agency "Cubanacan Press" want to keep a public record of solidarity with the fast they are realizing in the city of Villa Clara province Placetas, our brothers in peaceful struggles and pro-democratic ideas Jorge Luis García Pérez (Antúnez) Iris Tamara Pérez Aguilera and Santana Diosiris Perez.

Which is a protest of every free man or woman in this world to fight for freedom of the society in which they live and the entire command in general. This is precisely what they do because their claims are civilized compared to the authorities that represent the government of the Republic of Cuba.

Their requests are civilized and cumplibles by any governmental team who has the precept of humanism as a form of exercising power. These claims are:

First: That the political and governmental authorities of the Republic of Cuba be committed to providing decent housing for every Cuban.

Second: That the prison authorities of the Republic of Cuba cease with the death threats against a member of the Presidio Político Pedro Luis Boitel (PPPLB) Mario Alberto Pérez Aguilera, who is locked in the torture and death zone named Area of Increased Safety located in the Villa Clara Provincial Prison.

Third: That the Cuban government order the law enforcement authorities of the island to end the beatings and physical abuse or verbal against all Cuban prisoners, both those that are detained for common court cases and political. Including the peaceful opposition of the island.

If we consider the claims of this courageous trio of fighters in achieving the true freedom of Cuba, of our suffering and torn homeland. We proclaim that we fully support their claims and hold accountable the highest Cuban authorities for any fatal action which may occur against the Protestors.
