EVENTOS Y ACONTECIMIENTOS Q2 - 2019

Gracias por su interés y su apoyo constante a Cuba Decide. En toda la Isla, así como en el resto del mundo, los promotores de Cuba Decide continúan con el importante empeño de fraguar un camino hacia la democracia. Los logros más notables del pasado trimestre incluyen la negativa de Suecia a ratificar el acuerdo entre la UE y Cuba, y que, durante la 49ª Asamblea General de la OEA, Cuba Decide reactivó los reclamos para que el régimen cubano sea responsabilizado por sus violaciones de derechos humanos en contra del pueblo cubano, y también por su protagonismo en la desestabilización de la región. En junio, estos logros, entre muchos otros, fueron reconocidos por UN Watch y por la Comisión del Condado de Miami-Dade. Thank you for your interest in and continued support of Cuba Decide. Across the island and throughout the world promoters of Cuba Decide continue their important work of forging a path to democracy. Notable achievements this quarter include Sweden's refusal to ratify the agreement between the EU and Cuba; and Cuba Decide's renewed calls during the 49th General Assembly of the OAS, for the Cuban regime to be held accountable for its human rights violations against the Cuban people, and for its role in destabilizing the region. In June, these accomplishments, alongside many more, were recognized by UN Watch and The Miami-Dade County Commission. We invite you to learn more by reading the newsletter below.
