Dissident Humor on Life in Cuba: A story goes that a few years ago during an elementary school visit, Fidel Castro pats a little boy on the head and asks him: "And tell me Lorenzito, what would you like to be when you grow up?" Observing that communists, diplomats, and tourists go to good stores, hospitals, and hotels where regular Cubans are not allowed, Lorenzito smiles and replies: "Comandante, I would like to be a tourist!" ... Adapted from Chapter 13 of "Memories from the Land of the Intolerant Tyrant"
