Celia Cruz (La Habana; 21 de octubre de 1925? – Fort Lee, Nueva Jersey; 16 de julio de 2003) fue una cantante cubana de salsa que desarrolló su carrera en Cuba y Estados Unidos.

Celia fue la cantante latinoamericana más famosa y mejor pagada del siglo XX, con veintidós álbumes de oro a su nombre entre otros muchos reconocimientos y premios. Conocida en el mundo entero por su excelente calidad como cantante y por su famosa frase «¡Azúcar!», símbolo de su filosofía ante la vida y de su orgullo de ser cubana. Su estilo trascendió épocas y se mantuvo vigente durante mas de cincuenta años.
