Hatillo, Puerto Rico - www.cubanoticiasdisidentes.com - Doña Melba Santana Ariz, una de las Damas de Blanco, pide que los medios internacionales oigan su reclamo. Ahora yo le pido a todos los no cubanos, en específico mis compatriotas puertorriqueños, a que nos unemos a estos hermanos nuestros para que logren el sueño de una Cuba Democrática, libre y con todos los derechos humanos incluidos para reestablecer la tan destruida isla que fidel y sus secuazes han despedazado. No les pido a que nos acerquemos con armas bélicas, sino que nos levantemos en voz alta, con pluma en mano y preparado para protestar activamento junto a estos hermanos sufridos en todo lugar donde haya que dar el grito de alerta por una causa justa. Hacer lo contrario ahora cuando más necesitan de nuestro respaldo no sería bien visto y podría considerarse como una gran traición. !Y que pasa! Si algún día debido a nuestra intervención logre superarse por incima de Puerto Rico y volver a resurgir Cuba como una gloria económica, nuestros hermanos merecen esa oportunidad. Si perdemos esa ventaja de tesoros y gloria terrenal esta bien, podemos superarnos de cualquier desafortunado eventualidad con esfuerzos, pero por lo menos, delante del juez supremo del universo, debido a nuestra buena voluntad y haber socorrido a un pueblo caido en desgracia, nos habremos congraciado y ganado la inmortalidad y los tesoros del reino celestial.
A mis hermanos cubanos, Puerto Rico será el hogar de ustedes siempre, al igual que de todos aquellos que huyan de una dictadura opresiva y tenebrosa, como lo es Korea del Norte, Iran y Venezuela. Démosle nuestro más caluroso abrazo de bienvenida a estas criaturas de Dios, que no tienen culpa de tener que abandonar un país en total descalabro económico y persecución política. Nuestra casa es su casa, que Dios bendiga al sufrido Pueblo hermano de Cuba siempre, son de lo profundo del alma, mis más sinceros deseos.
Translation:
Mrs. Melba Santana Ariz, one of the Ladies in White, request the support of the international media. Now i ask of all those non cubans, especially my compatriots of Puerto Rico, that we unite with our brothers to seek in realizing the dream of a democratic Cuba, free and with all the benefits of the human rights charter included so that the crumbling society of Cuba can reflourish from the destructive hands of Fidel and his henchmen. I am not asking that we approach this matter with armaments at the ready, but that we rise in one high pitched note, with pen in hand, prepared to unite together with these suffering brothers, where ever necesary, to protest any abuse in Cuba by giving our support for a just cause. To do the contrary now that they need us the most could be considered wrong and the ultimate betrayal. And so what if due to our interverntion Cuba seeks to over pass Puerto Rico in developing into an economic glory again, they deserve that opportunity. If we lose the advantage of national economic glory and earthly riches is okay, with our hard work we can recuperate from any misfortune, but at least in the eyes of the supreme judge of the universe, due to our good will in rescuing our brothers from this monumental tragedy, we will win his blessing, gain inmortality and a place in eternal heavenly peace.
To my cuban brothers, Puerto Rico will always be your home and also the home of all those who flee a state of oppression and utter tyranny, as is the case of those from North Korea, Iran and Venezuela. Lets receive these brothers with a warm open arm, who have no falt from having to flee their country which is in total economic ruin and having suffered from political persecution. Our house is your house, May God bless always the suffering people of Cuba, which i sincerely wish from the bottom of my heart.
