In Afghanistan, Obama Tells Troops: 'Progress Comes at a Price'

President Barack Obama paid U.S. troops a surprise visit in Afghanistan, telling them they are making progress and that they will succeed in their mission.

"Today we can be proud there are fewer areas under Taliban control," the president said at Bagram Airfield, adding that the progress comes at a high price.

The president said he didn't need to tell the troops that it was a tough fight and that difficult days are ahead.
