Félix Reyes Gutiérrez - http://www.payolibre.com/ - Cuatro bicycle taxis where confiscated by the police authorities of Aguada of Pasajeros, in Cienfuegos, this past april 5, accused of using them for the ilegal sales of products.

Bernardo R. Arévalo Padrón, activist of the democratic movement, informed that the day in question four bicycle taxis who where screaming out the sales of patatoes in the streets of the town, where approached by members of the Nacional Revolutionary Police and directed to a local police station.

In the station the owners where advised that their bicycle taxis where confiscated and and that they where being fined for the amount of $1,000.00 in national pesos each one of them for "illegality".

Source added, that the punished where looking for a product in the near zone of the Company of Various Plantations "Horquita" and they would later sell them to the inhabitants of aguadenses, because during the present year the State still have not supplied the people with potatoes. Also, during the year 2008, the inhabitants only recieved the food product two times a year.

Note: I read an article from a communist source which i cannot recall, saying that in the Batista regime their was alot of corruption, vice and prostitution; he was right, but he forgot to mention the fact that there was an abundance of food source, free comerce, and the most thing everybody naturaly desires which is freedom. Now in days in Cuba there is corruption, prostitution, even child prostitution because of the poverty, oppression, no freedom, no free comerce, and the worst thing of all a lack of food, which if available it is also rationed. So who ever this communist was who i forgot to get his website and name maybe he should go and live in Cuba for a couple of years with the same salary of a doctor, which is about $18.00 a month, who knows maybe he'll love it, together with all those other democracy haters.
