Liberal Unity of the Republic. Regular Meeting of April

This april 11 we organized the regular meeting of the Liberal Unity of the Republic of Cuba in the house of its President, Hector Palacios Ruíz.

Between the aspects treated in the same it is fitting to report that the lecture is what stood out and the approval of a letter sent to the President of the United States of America signed by its own members of the Liberal Unity, The All United Table of Relators and members of the Solicitors for the Transition.

The letter explains in ten steps the irregularities which exist to a have delivered to the interior of the country the assistance that comes from the contributors of the american people and ratified as one of the fundamental objectives for the disidents in the country, the struggle for the unconditional liberty of all the political prisoners.

All the persons present had agreed with the points planted in the letter and they manifested it by putting the signatures of all the persons who felt identified with what is expressed in the document, to then sent subsequently to president Barack Obama.

Also where selected regional coordinators of the Liberal Unity of Cuba the following persons Orlando Martínez Padrón; from the west, Guillermo Fariñas Hernández: from Villa Clara, Matanzas and Cienfuegos, Ana Margarita Perdigón Brito: Cienfuegos, Ciego de A'vila and Camguey, José Luís Castro Aguilar; Holguín and Las Tunas, Alberto Moreno, Granma and Santiago of Cuba.

In the meeting it was informed about the recent election of the first vice-president of the Liberal Unity, Francisco Chaviano González for the Pro Secretariat of Temporary Agenda for the Transition in Cuba. Chaviano was named also, main speaker of the Liberal Unity.

Special moment and of great importance was de creation of a juvenile secretary and another for the feminine group in the Liberal Unity of the Republic of Cuba, which will be directed by Edgar Moreno and Martha Bonachea respectively.

The activity ended in a friendly atmosphere which has historicaly characterized the Unity, with the firm purpose of growing, but by growing in a positive way, as our president noted.
