NORTH KOREA FREEDOM WEEK

For the first time since it began in 2004, North Korea Freedom Week (NKFW) will be held in Seoul, South Korea, from April 25 to May 1, 2010. NKFW is an event that has been held annually in Washington, D.C., for the specific purpose of promoting the freedom, human rights, and dignity of the North Korean people. In fact, many of the North Korean defectors who have participated in NKFW in Washington, D.C. in the past, will be hosting events in Korea this year. It has been long believed by Dr. Suzanne Scholte, Chairman of the NKFC, that the sooner we have NKFW in Seoul, the sooner we will have NKFW in Pyongyang.
